Tour Notes Day 6

Tour Notes Day 6 – Southern Roots Tour

  • Write down your tour lessons when you think of them, because you’ll forget…
  • Bring a ladder

Do not go gentle into that good night

  • There’s probably no such thing as too much haze during a show… probably
  • Eyedrops, remember eyedrops everywhere you go …

Be early. Really early. Like – really really early. A lot of possible problems can be solved by being early.

  • Play an instrument. Any instrument, doesn’t matter which, and you are never too old to start learning. All that time you have spent playing rock band or guitar hero … Imagine what an awesome trombone player you would be by now if you had put all of that time into an instrument. I don’t play anything well, but I’m going to be practicing again.
  • Simplicity is key in many things, in music, in lyrics, in communication. Be clear. Be kind and be clear.
  • Private lives are your own. You don’t have to share anything you don’t want to.
  • Decide what is important and then live accordingly … This is harder than it sounds
  • I looooove going away and then having someplace to come back to
  • It’s hard to sleep after a great show, but you HAVE to
  • I am just so dang impressed at how much this band really looks after each other.
  • Nobody makes friends like Appa!!
  • Did you know that toothbrushes can fall apart in your mouth?? While you are brushing your teeth?? Neither did I? Guess what I now know …

The best way to support what we do is by buying some merch! Thanks so much and all the love.
